Q-PRO Lunch and Learn: "Introduction to Qualitative Methods and PRO"

Join the Qualitative and Patient-Reported Outcomes (Q-PRO) Shared Resource on Friday, November 11 at noon to learn more about qualitative methods and patient-reported outcomes (PRO) measurement and design. Attendees will learn about the differences between quantitative and qualitative data, a variety of qualitative data collection and data analysis methods, and the use of PROs to assess health-related quality of life and symptoms. Attendees will take away an understanding of the potential applications of qualitative methods and PRO measures to advance their research.

Access the calendar invitation.

The mission of the Qualitative and Patient-Reported Outcomes (Q-PRO) Shared Resource is to enrich science and improve health by amplifying perspectives on complex and underexplored health, system, and societal challenges.

The Q-PRO Shared Resource supports population-focused research by providing pre-award scientific consultation to investigators, and research infrastructure to support both qualitative and patient-reported outcomes research for funded projects. We address the unmet needs for methodological expertise in qualitative research and patient-reported outcomes that promote translational research in clinical and community settings.
