The mission of the Qualitative and Patient-Reported Outcomes Shared Resource (Q-PROSR) is to enrich science and improve health by amplifying perspectives on complex and underexplored health, system and societal challenges.

The Q-PROSR supports population-focused research by providing pre-award scientific consultation to investigators and research infrastructure to support both qualitative and patient-reported outcomes research for funded projects. We address the unmet needs for methodological expertise in qualitative research and patient-reported outcomes that promote translational research in clinical and community settings.

Applications are now open for the 2027 Qualitative Training Institute for Enhancing Cancer Research (CancerQTI) program!

CancerQTI

Q-PROSR leads the newly-funded Qualitative Training Institute for Enhancing Cancer Research (CancerQTI). CancerQTI is a comprehensive training program that provides clinician scientists and oncology researchers with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to integrate qualitative methodological approaches into research across the cancer care continuum, including prevention, screening, treatment, rehabilitation, and survivorship.
