MD Program
Applications for the MD Program are only accepted from U.S. citizens and permanent residents. If the applicant’s undergraduate, premedical recommended course work has been done outside the U.S. or Canada, the applicant must complete some recommended coursework in the United States or Canada prior to applying.
Transfer Students
MD Program
Wake Forest University School of Medicine does not accept applicants for transfer or for admission with advanced standing (i.e., transfer students).

NOTE: Intel ARM and ATOM processors, Chromebooks, and Android tablets and Microsoft Surface laptops are not compatible with curriculum software. Intel processor must be a minimum of generation 8 or higher.
The Academic Computing Support Team provides computer support services Monday through Friday 8am through 4:30pm. Their office is located at Bowman Gray Center of Medical Education on 3rd floor, behind the library. They will assist with basic computer configurations, wireless connectivity, Citrix remote access, Wake Health accounts, printer and email setup. Hardware repairs are not provided; however, we will provide a list of local repair facilities in Winston-Salem or students can contact their computer vendor/manufacturer directly for support.
