Cite the P30
Please remember to cite the P30 Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) when applicable, especially for CCC Shared Resources!
If your publication has already been submitted without citing the P30 and has a PMCID number, you can link the pub to the P30 grant in your MyNCBI after the fact. If it does not have a PMCID, it can be submitted for one and then you can link the P30.
Here are the conditions in which you need to cite the P30 in a pub:
Cite the P30 using the statement below if you have ANY manuscripts that involve(d) the following either CCSG pilot funding, or clinical research support for a pilot or Phase I Investigator-Initiated trial (e.g., regulatory and data management personnel):
“Research reported in this publication was supported by the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health under Award Number P30CA012197. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the National Institutes of Health.”
Cite specific CCC Shared Resource(s) using the following statement:
"The authors wish to acknowledge the support of the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center <INSERT SHARED RESOURCE NAME(S)> Shared Resource, supported by the National Cancer Institute's Cancer Center Support Grant award number P30CA012197. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the National Institutes of Health.”
