Submissions and Guidelines

Article Submissions

Submitted articles will be peer-reviewed for strong methodology, clear and communicative technical writing as well as meaningful contribution to the collective body of knowledge. Importantly, we actively encourage the submission of content relevant to the community even if it does not fit one of the categories listed in the author guidelines.

We ask that authors please refrain from submitting to the WFJSM work which they have published or hope to publish elsewhere. This practice will ensure that authors’ works, in this or other journals, meet the standards regarding duplicate publications that are considered best practices in scientific publishing.

Both students and faculty staff the journal. Established professionals will be sought for peer-review. Submissions are accepted from physicians, scientists and students at all levels. If you are interested in serving on journal staff or assisting as a faculty mentor please contact the editorial board at wfjsm@wakehealth.edu

We look forward to your contributions to make the Wake Forest Journal of Science and Medicine a significant resource for the medical and scientific community.
