The Wake Forest University School of Medicine Department of Pathology and Section on Comparative Medicine has a strong commitment to excellence and innovation through clinical, translational, and basic research.
Our department serves Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-affiliated hospitals, including Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Davie Medical Center, High Point Medical Center, Lexington Medical Center, and Wilkes Medical Center. We also serve several outpatient locations within the Piedmont Triad region in Northwest North Carolina.
Our faculty and staff are dedicated to serving the region and community by providing superior diagnostic care, clinical laboratory testing, and consultative services. We are devoted to educating the next generation of health care providers and investigators. Our goal is to elevate the reputation of the Pathology department nationally through outstanding clinical services, groundbreaking research, and effective educational programs.
