Our goal is to create an environment that values diversity and promotes a culture of inclusion and respect among all employees within the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine department.
We serve as point of contact of the Wake Forest Racial Equity Task Force and we collaborate with the Office of Inclusion and Diversity to develop and execute departmental diversity and inclusion plans (that consider structural factors such as climate, recruitment/retention, mentorship, and policies and practices of the department, etc.).
