About Me

I grew up in Memphis, Tenn., and graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering. I returned to my hometown to attend the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. During my residency, I spent two years as the department of surgery Bradshaw Research Fellow, working in the Wake Forest Organoid Research Center, and obtained my master’s degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My favorite part about training at Wake Forest University School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine is the camaraderie among the residents, the training atmosphere, mentorship and all the nearby hiking, of course!
