Rheumatology Fellowship Application Process

Applicants interested in pursuing the Rheumatology Fellowship program must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and register with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

Candidates invited to interview will be notified by email of available dates to schedule an interview.

Submitting an Application

  1. Complete your application through ERAS
  2. Register with the NRMP

Required Documents

As part of the ERAS process, prospective fellows will need to submit the following documentation:

  • USMLE Step I, II, and III scores
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Exchange Commission of Foreign Medical Graduates certification (if applicable)
  • Personal statement or letter of interest explaining career choice and goals
  • Three letters of recommendation, one of which should be from the applicant’s residency program director
  • Current photograph
Please note, fellowship funding is restricted to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or in the U.S. on a J-1 visa. We cannot sponsor individuals in the U.S. with an H1-B visa at this time.
