Remembering Mufiyda Abraham

The Department of PA Studies was saddened to learn of the passing of Mufiyda Abraham, MPAS, PA-C, on January 3, 2024. Fellow Wake PA alumnus Truett Smith, MPAS, PA-C, DFAAPA, wrote a tribute to his friend and colleague that was shared on the NCAPA website. You can also read her family’s obituary.


Wake PA Alumni Board

The inaugural Wake PA Alumni Board convened its first meeting on March 1. Several members attended in person on the Winston-Salem campus and others participated through online conferencing.

Working with department leadership and the Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations, the board will endeavor to support the Department of PA Studies by engaging with alumni and connecting them with current students and faculty through educational and social events.
