About Me

I was born and raised in Ammon, Idaho as one of six children. As the son of a dentist, I was introduced to the joys of humanitarian work early on in life, which instilled in me a desire to truly improve the lives of others. This aspiration drove me to pursue a career in medicine. I attended Brigham Young University-Idaho where I received my bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I then continued my education by attending the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. My wife and I have been blessed with two children, with another little one on the way. Outside of medicine and spending time with my family, I enjoy maple tree tapping and making my own maple syrup, trapping, and disc golfing. I also enjoy being outside and having projects to do. I am thrilled to be here at Wake Forest where I will be able to meet my full potential in my love for humanitarian work and being a holistic and well-rounded physician and surgeon.
