About Me

I was born and raised in Cumberland, Rhode Island. I attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) for my undergraduate degrees in Biology/Biotechnology and Biochemistry. I moved to Pennsylvania and Upstate New York to pursue my medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduating medical school, I moved back to Rhode Island for my residency in Internal Medicine at Kent Hospital/Brown University where I was able to serve as chief resident in my final year. During this time, I was introduced to Geriatrics while rotating through the hospital’s Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) unit and absolutely loved it, prompting me to pursue fellowship in the field. I am excited to be moving down south to North Carolina to join the Wake Forest community for fellowship!
