J. Mark Cline, DVM, PhD, professor of Pathology - Comparative Medicine, was recently awarded the Scholars-In-Training Excellence in Mentoring Award from the Radiation Research Society (RRS) for demonstrating exceptional mentorship of trainees.
A Scholar-In-Training consists of pre- or postdoctoral membership and the committee represents the interests of the next generation of radiation researchers and practitioners.
As a multidisciplinary society, RRS plays a key role in building bridges between biology, chemistry, epidemiology, physics and clinics to further understand the effects and usage of radiation.
