About Me
I am board certified in Geriatrics and Internal Medicine, and am passionate about innovative care models and technology to facilitate care and transitions for older adults. I have served as Medical Director of the Acute Care for Elders Unit for three years, and also help the geriatrics consult service in the inpatient setting. I follow primary care patients through the house call program at a local retirement community, and have also worked in the post-acute and long term care setting. I am currently Co-director of the fourth year medical student Geri-Pall clerkship, and love the opportunity to share geriatrics knowledge with our future physicians.
I am the PI for a qualitative review study of Geriatrician and Older Adult’s Experiences with Telehealth services, and am very interested in future telehealth in Geriatrics. I also serve as the study physician for both the Improvisational Movement for People with Early-Stage Memory Loss and Their Caregivers (IMOVE), and the Female, Estrogen, Menopause, Mind and Energy (FEMME) studies. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my son and daughter and practicing the culinary arts.
