About Me
I am a Board Certified Cytopathologist and a general surgical pathologist with subspecialty interest in Head and Neck Pathology. My practice includes fine needle aspiration, rapid onsite evaluation, frozen section evaluation as well as diagnosis of cytological and surgical pathology specimens. My research interests are: validation of instruments used for procuring cytological specimens; developing criteria for diagnostic accuracy in cytology and anatomic pathology; supporting basic research into pathogenesis of lung cancer using animal models; and, the effects of implementation of digital pathology. I have served on national committees for organizations such as the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) and American Society of Cytopathology (ASC).
