The Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program at Wake Forest School of Medicine is a three-year program and is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education and offers three resident positions.
As a resident, you’ll receive supervised advanced surgical and clinical training in the evaluation and care of foot and ankle pathology. The first year of training consists of traditional allopathic medical rotations which prepares our residents to succeed as an integral component of the medical education community at Wake Forest School of Medicine and later in their chosen medical community. The second and third years of training are exclusively surgical and clinical rotations with the Wake Forest School of Medicine foot and ankle faculty.
