Perioperative Medicine Fellowship Program Application Process

Anesthesiology resident physicians are encouraged to apply at the end of the CA-2 year or during their CA-3 year.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Graduates of the ACGME residency program are encouraged.
  • Board-eligible or -certified is preferred for fellows applying for in-person fellowships.
  • Remote applicants are encouraged to have two years of minimum experience in clinical perioperative practice. This could include general internal medicine, hospital medicine, surgery or anesthesiology. Please include references and letters of support outlining prior experience and/or board certifications.

Application Process

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until a candidate has been accepted. Entry is by competitive interview following a review of application and letters of recommendation. The start date of the position can be negotiated. 

Required Documentation

  • Curriculum vitae.
  • Letter of Interest: One page description of your interest/goals and reason for applying.
  • Three letters of recommendation including one from the program director if still in residency. For those out of training and currently in clinical practice, letters of recommendation from colleagues or supervisors will suffice.
