The Neurocritical Care Fellowship at Wake Forest School of Medicine prepares fellows to independently practice the subspecialty of Neurocritical Care.  After completing the fellowship, fellows will be prepared for either an academic or private practice position.

The Wake Forest Neurocritical Care Fellowship is United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties-accredited as a two-year program, and encompasses both clinical care and research opportunities.

Neurocritical fellows will be extensively trained in the evaluation and management of neurologic emergencies, care for the neurologically critically ill patient, and general intensive care.
Fellows are eligible for the UCNS neurocritical care certification exam after they successfully complete the fellowship.

The program will apply for ACGME accreditation in neurocritical care as soon as it is available.

Depending on your rotation, you may train at facilities across our system. Explore below a few of the spaces where fellows of this program spend a lot of their time. Navigate the drop-down to switch rooms and use your mouse (or finger for touch screens) to rotate around the room.
