Wake Forest is a fantastic place to train in infectious diseases! We provide a rich and supportive educational environment and are dedicated to our fellows’ success. Some of my favorite features of the ID fellowship program include the diverse patient population, our section’s enthusiasm for fellowship education, the highly collegial atmosphere and dedicated mentorship. Our fellows enjoy educating the top-notch internal medicine residents and medical students who are eager to learn and participate in patient care. At Wake Forest, we have a strong tradition of training highly qualified, successful ID physicians. Our graduates are highly skilled infectious diseases community physicians, academic clinician educators, physician-scientists, and thought-leaders at the local, national, and international levels. I am delighted to continue the tradition by serving in the role of the ID Fellowship program director, and I look forward to meeting you!
