About Me
I was born in the country of Rwanda in East Africa and immigrated to the United States at a young age. I am proudly trilingual in English, French, and Kinyarwanda. I grew up in the beautiful state of North Carolina and attended Emory University in Georgia where I attained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I began my career in the medical field working as a Registered Nurse for several years before pursuing my passion to become a Doctor. I attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. I was drawn to the surgical culture at Wake Forest, with the bonus of going full circle back to the state where I was raised. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, all things self-care, being a foodie, and when time permits doing absolutely nothing!
