About Me
I am a combined clinical and research cardiology fellow interested in preventive cardiology, particularly examining how body composition influences cardiovascular health. My research leverages advanced imaging and biomarkers to explore how changes in muscle mass and adiposity associated with aging affect the progression of cardiometabolic diseases. Specifically, I focus on understanding how sarcopenia and obesity impact the incidence and outcomes of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and heart failure. Ultimately, I aim to translate these mechanistic insights into targeted pharmaceutical, nutritional, and rehabilitation interventions to improve patient outcomes.
