Mission
The Triad Pastoral Network (TPN) establishes asset-based trusted partnerships among regional faith leaders, and between faith leaders and the Maya Angelou Center for Health Equity (MACHE). The partnership will identify health priorities, and set agendas relative to the spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional health of their congregations and communities. These partnerships will lay the groundwork and facilitate the advancement of healthier faith communities and neighborhoods regionally, and particularly within African-American and other underserved communities.
Purpose of the Partnership
As a partner to MACHE and ADRC, opportunities can be tailored to address the needs, priorities, interests, and goals of each individual church and congregation. MACHE will provide opportunities for partners to engage in networking and interdisciplinary partnerships within the community and Wake Forest Baptist Health to spur collaboration and nurture innovative approaches to improve the physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing of our community. We value the reciprocal exchange of ideas and talents and recognize that we are stronger, more effective, and have a greater presence for influencing better health when we leverage our collective strengths.
