An Interdisciplinary Student Competition
The MACHE Bowl is modeled after similar programs across the United States and seeks to demonstrate the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to addressing health equity. It brings together students teams comprised of multiple disciplines, representing several academic institutions, to interact and address a complex health disparity case. Cases will include aspects of a health disparity/health equity issue that interfaces with health sciences, legal, and social issues.
The MACHE Bowl is an annual event, typically held in the Spring. To date, partners have included Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem State University, University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Appalachian State University
