Sarah Cartwright, M.D., and Mike Cartwright, M.D., remember the excitement and anticipation while walking to the Match Day ceremony with their fellow classmates in 2002. They had met in high school and married before attending Wake Forest University School of Medicine together. On Match Day, they opened their envelopes to learn they had both also matched at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
