About Me

With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky as my foundation, I embarked on a journey of continuous learning and growth. I furthered my education by completing the rigorous master’s program at the Wake Forest Baptist Nurse Anesthesia Program/UNC-Greensboro School of Nursing. This experience honed my clinical skills and instilled in me a deep commitment to providing high-quality care to my patients. I have provided anesthesia in a variety of settings, from office-based to Level I trauma centers.

Driven to expand my impact and contribute to advancing nursing practice, I pursued my Doctor of Nursing Practice from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine Department of Academic Nursing. As the first graduate of both Wake Forest nursing programs, I have the designation of a "Dual Deac," I am honored to be recognized for my dedication and academic achievement.

As the Associate Director for Didactic Education, I have a comprehensive understanding of nursing theory, research, and practice, empowering me to make meaningful contributions to the education of the future CRNA workforce.  I am committed to leveraging my expertise to improve patient outcomes, advance evidence-based practice, and inspire the next generation of nurse anesthetists.
