About Me

I am a systemic researcher and clinician focused on relationships, technology use, and mental healthcare. My scholarly activities center on two broad goals: (1) understanding how technology use can enhance couple and family relationships, and (2) increasing access to high-quality mental healthcare.

My research efforts are directed toward improving treatment for individuals, couples, and families by specifically addressing two important areas: (1) access to mental healthcare via integrated primary care, and (2) the development, adoption, and use of mHealth apps in conjunction with systemic behavioral healthcare.
