About Me
I am a radiation oncologist specializing in head and neck cancer and hematologic malignancies such as lymphoma and leukemia. My primary research focuses on the mechanisms of radiation-induced normal tissue injury in order to identify potential interventions to mitigate treatment toxicity. The goal of my research is to maximize the therapeutic index for head and neck cancer patients treated with radiation therapy. I also have clinical and academic interests in palliative/symptom management radiation therapy and the utilization of radiation therapy near the end of life.
