About Me

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Implementation Science at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

As a health services researcher, I focus on the prevention of HPV-related cancers. I am particularly interested in policy-level interventions to increase HPV vaccine coverage among adolescents and conduct research to understand how policy interventions can address disparities in subgroups, such as non-white and rural populations, with disproportionately high rates of HPV cancers.

I also conduct intervention work to test strategies for increasing HPV vaccination uptake among adolescents and young adults at the clinic and health system levels. I study the implementation of evidence-based strategies and evaluate implementation processes. I have secondary interests in global health and sexual and reproductive health and justice.

At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I received my bachelor’s degree, my Juris Doctor, my master’s degree in public health and my PhD.
