About Me

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Implementation Science at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

As a health services researcher, I focus on the prevention of HPV-related cancers. I am particularly interested in policy-level interventions to increase HPV vaccine coverage among adolescents and conduct research to understand how policy interventions can improve health outcomes, including among those with disproportionately high rates of HPV cancers.

I also conduct intervention work to test strategies for increasing HPV vaccination uptake among adolescents and young adults at the clinic and health system levels. I study the implementation of evidence-based strategies and evaluate implementation processes. I have secondary interests in global health and sexual and reproductive health.

At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I received my bachelor’s degree, my Juris Doctor, my master’s degree in public health and my PhD.
