About Me

My research focuses on injury biomechanics, with a primary focus on work with other academic and military collaborators on the Warrior Injury Assessment Manikin (WIAMan) Project to develop a crash test dummy for the military. This research is funded by grants from the Department of Defense.

I also investigate orthopaedic challenges by leveraging my experience in experimental and computational techniques, such as finite element analysis and mechanical testing. With an improved understanding of underlying mechanisms, better safety countermeasures or surgical techniques can be developed. I also work to collaborate with faculty and residents to develop studies with biomechanical components.
