About Me
I am currently an Assistant Professor within the Department of Surgery, Division of Acute Care Surgery. My research interests include a range of topics within shock resuscitation of the critically injured and septic patient. Within this, I am interested in the mechanisms and development of novel therapies directed toward the resolution of shock. In addition, a portion of my time is dedicated to the basic and translational sciences at Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine. I have a strong clinical interest in ventral hernia repair and abdominal wall reconstruction. I am daily excited and grateful to work with and learn from colleagues and trainees within the rich academic atmosphere at Wake Forest School of Medicine.
