About Me
I am an assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
As a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, I specialize in adult and pediatric sports medicine, cartilage restoration and joint preservation and complex knee, shoulder and hip repair. I am passionate about return to sports after injury, injury prevention and innovative practices in the field, including bringing tracheoplasty for patellofemoral instability to the region.
I completed my orthopaedic surgery residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and my fellowship training at Santa Monica Sports Medicine in California. I spent 2 years in private practice in Birmingham, Alabama, before returning home to North Carolina.
I was a collegiate Division l pitcher at Davidson College and currently serve as a team physician for the High Point Rockers and several area high schools.
