The Department of Radiology offers a one year clinical fellowship in the subspecialty of Breast Imaging. Fellows will receive training in a broad range of breast imaging exams and procedures in the setting of a nationally-recognized academic medical center. Two positions are available each year.
Fellows are involved in interpreting mammograms, ultrasounds, and MRIs as well as performing image guided procedures. More than 300 new cases of breast cancer are seen at our medical center yearly.
Excellent relationships with other breast cancer specialists and participation in multidisciplinary conferences further broaden the fellow’s training. At the completion of the program, fellows will be equipped to transition to a position at an academic medical center or a busy private practice.
