The Asian Radiology Education Program is a non-profit program. It is a collaboration between Asian Radiology colleagues from leading teaching hospitals and the Department of Radiology, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, and Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Our goals are to provide high quality Radiology education from the West to our colleagues in Asia and to promote Radiology education among Asian Radiologists and Radiology trainees.

Program Overview

The Asian Radiology Education Program (AREP) is a non-profit educational program created in October 2021 with the intention to share experiences, expertise, and knowledge from the West to Radiology colleagues in Asia. It is a collaboration among the Departments of Radiology of the leading teaching hospitals in Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Nepal, Myanmar, Mongolia, Thailand, and Vietnam and the Department of Radiology, Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC, USA.  The moderators are academic Radiologists from member countries and our guest speakers are from leading academic institutions in the US.

This program, which has run January through October 2022, includes multiple subspecialty lectures including Cardiothoracic Imaging, Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, MSK Radiology, and other hot topics in Radiology. The 2022 AREP Speakers are listed lower in this webpage.
