IBM Marketscan Commercial Claims and Encounters Database
This database includes comprehensive healthcare utilization claims (outpatient, inpatient and drugs) for about 25 million individuals every year. All are employees (and spouses and dependents) covered by employer-sponsored health insurance. We have data for 2017 - 2022. For more detailed documentation contact HSR Core. State Inpatient Discharge
Each database contains a near-universe of all hospitalizations in all non-federal hospitals in the state. The National Inpatient Sample is derived from the state inpatient discharge databases. We have data from 21 states from years ranging from 2010 - 2019. For a majority of states, the data are from the Agency for Healthcare Research Quality, and for the remaining states they were obtained from individual state agencies.

Each database contains a near-universe of all outpatient emergency department (ED) vists in all non-federal hospitals in the state. The National Emergency Department Sample is derived from the state emergency department databases. We have data from 15 states ranging in years from 2010 - 2019. For a majority of states, the data are from the Agency for Healthcare Research Quality, and for the remaining states they were obtained from individual state agencies.

Medicare Fee for Service Claims
These databases include comprehensive healthcare utilization claims (outpatient, inpatient and drugs) for Medicare enrollees. Currently we have claims records for large samples of Medicare enrollees aged 65 and older under the Fee for Service plan.
