I am honored to welcome you to our department at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital and Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Our department stands at the forefront of clinical excellence, innovative research, and comprehensive education, dedicated to advancing the field of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine. 

Our team—consisting of over 350—faculty, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), residents, fellows, and staff members provides outstanding perioperative care in state-of-the-art facilities across the Winston Salem and Piedmont Triad area. Each day, these dedicated professionals work collaboratively to provide the highest standard of patient care, push the boundaries of scientific research, and cultivate the next generation of healthcare leaders. 
Looking forward, we are poised for transformation. In the coming years, we aim to grow our department with significant advancements in quality and safety of clinical care, expansion of our research initiatives, and enhancement of our educational programs.
