About Me
I was trained in measurement and statistics and obtained my PhD in statistics from Stanford University. My statistics and data science-related research areas include longitudinal data, psychometrics and measurement of health, with application areas in aging, obesity, pediatrics and oncology. As PI, I have led multiple NIH- and NSF-funded methodology projects and published more than 220 peer-reviewed journal articles, which include lead-authored method research articles in the Journal of the American Statistical Association, Statistics in Medicine, and Psychometrika, and clinical research articles in the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, American Journal of Public Health, Pediatrics, and Cancer.
I have been associate editor for multiple journals, including Quality of Life Research and Journal of Educational and Behavioral Statistics, and I currently am the editor of the "Application Reviews and Case Studies (ARCS)" section of the journal Psychometrika.
