About Me
I am a Professor in the Divisions of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine and Public Health Sciences. My PhD is from the University of Rochester in Statistics. I have been at Wake Forest School of Medicine since 1986 and headed its biostatistics department for 11 years. I am a fellow of the American Statistical Association, the Society for Clinical Trials, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. I have authored/co-authored 400 methodological and biomedical journal articles. My research currently probes interfaces among aging, diabetes, cognition, sex, and lifestyle.
