Student Affairs oversees academic support resources for the entire student population at Wake Forest School of Medicine; however, academic advising varies by program. Resources for all students are provided below.
Academic Advising for all School of Medicine Students
Academic advising refers to support we offer all of our students for sustained success in courses, clerkships and exam preparation. This is supplied in a variety of ways by a team of faculty and staff.
For immediate advice and assistance with your approach to learning and studying, please make an advising appointment by completing this form.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive and collegial learning environment and value the contributions students make to the learning process and each other. As such, we encourage everyone to consider taking part in the Wake Forest School of Medicine Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) community in some capacity. If you are interested, please let us know how you would like to participate:
If you have any difficulties completing the advising form or tutoring request, please contact Dr. Stacy Schmauss, associate director for student affairs, who oversees academic advising.
