The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wake Forest School of Medicine offers educational programs for:
- Third and fourth-year medical students
- Residents specializing in obstetrics and gynecology
- Fellows focusing on maternal fetal medicine and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery
In addition to having both Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowships in our department, we have outstanding subspecialty representation in:
- Reproductive endocrinology and infertility
- Gynecologic oncology
- Maternal fetal medicine
- Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
- Contraception and Family Planning
- Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology
Our department also provides a continuing education grand rounds conference for CME credit, which can be applied toward license renewal. This conference is available to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center faculty and our community physicians, as well as nurses and other medical providers involved in the field of obstetrics or gynecology.
