The Endocrinology and Metabolism Section at Wake Forest School of Medicine has a strong educational focus. In addition to ongoing research, we offer a residency program, a fellowship program and an elective program for medical students. Our faculty members are intensely involved in medical student education and are recognized as a significant contributor to continuing education for physicians throughout the U.S. and around the world.
Endocrinology and metabolism covers a broad spectrum of diseases. Our physicians and advanced practice providers focus on the diagnosis and management of diabetes and other endocrine and metabolic diseases.
