About Me

Howdy! I grew up in Vancourt, Texas, on a family farm and ranch, and spent much of my early life working with cows and sheep. After high school, I attended Texas A&M University for undergrad, where I discovered my passion for medicine. I continued developing this passion at Texas A&M during medical school and expanded my interests to include serving patients in rural areas. Currently, my interests are in rural surgery and increasing access to patients in those areas! In my free time, I love to start new craft projects (stained glass and watercolor), play tennis with my fiancé, and spend time with family and friends!
