About Me
I grew up in 23 different houses but have now made Winston-Salem home. I attended James Madison University, where I studied chemistry and theatre prior to coming to Wake Forest University School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine, where I obtained my master’s degree in biomedical science and my medical degree. I am pursuing pediatric surgery with research interests and publications in short bowel syndrome, pediatric trauma and minimally invasive techniques. When not at the hospital, I can be found playing board games with my husband, walking our dog, Maple, singing the national anthem at Dash games and acting as a medical advisor for the television show, “Grey’s Anatomy.”
