About Me

I grew up in Jamesville, N.C., and completed my undergraduate studies at UNC Chapel Hill before attending the ECU Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, where I was born, as a Brody Scholar. My current interests include general, cardiothoracic, plastic and reconstructive, and acute care surgery, with a particular interest in integrating medical education principles into surgical training and practice. I have a strong passion for teaching and mentorship, which I hope to carry throughout my surgical career. Outside of medicine, I'm an enthusiastic rock climber, pendulum painter, and axe thrower. I also enjoy basketball, hiking, and woodworking. I'm incredibly grateful to continue my training in North Carolina and look forward to giving back to the communities that have supported me throughout my journey.
