About Me
I'm from a small town near Cleveland, Ohio, along Lake Erie. I went to undergraduate school at Spelman College where I majored in chemistry. I then returned to Ohio to undertake my doctoral degree in pharmacology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. While there, I discovered my love for medicine and decided to attend the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. After residency, my plan is to pursue a fellowship in either MIS (multisystem inflammatory syndrome) or surgical oncology. I am currently one of the Top Gun Champions for the N.C. and S.C. chapters of the American Chemical Society (ACS).
