The Joint Brain Tumor Biology/Radiation Biology/Radiation Physics/Molecular Imaging Section Meeting
- Original research data from the laboratories of the Brain Tumor Center are presented in laboratory meeting format (every other Thursday).
BTCOE Monthly Meetings
- These monthly meetings include all basic scientists and clinicians and is demonstrative of strong collaborations with the Departments of Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Radiology, Neurosurgery and others. This venue is well attended by a wide range of expertise including physicians, scientists, and trainees. Occurring the fourth Tuesday of the month.
Brain Tumor Center of Excellence Annual
- A forum designed to elicit constructive feedback and monitor year-to-year translational progress of the projects. The BTCOE invites nationally and internationally recognized speakers and external and internal reviewers and provides the opportunity to hear and discuss presentations given by WFBCCC neuro-oncology researchers, as well as provides the opportunity to solicit insightful comments about our research.
The Brain Tumor Board
- A CME activity that takes place every Tuesday (except the fourth Tuesday of the month). The Brain Tumor Disease Oriented Team (clinical) of the CCC also meets along the Brain Tumor Board once a month. The Board serves discussions of neuro-oncological cases seen/treated at WFBMC and basic/translational scientist are encouraged to attend.
