About Me

I am a professor of orthopaedic surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. I serve as the vice chair of quality for the musculoskeletal service line and the section chief of adult reconstruction. Additionally, I serve as the medical director of orthopaedic surgery at Davie Medical Center.

I am board certified in orthopaedic surgery. I specialize in performing and managing total joint, hip and knee replacements and revisions. Other conditions I treat include osteoarthritis and avascular necrosis.

My research focuses on improving quality outcomes. Noteworthy grants include: the Journey II CR Total Knee System Prospective Non-Randomized Trial, the Prospective Multi-center Study to Evaluate the REDAPT System, the Prospective Multi-center Trial to Evaluate the OR3O Dual Mobility System, the RALLY Study, the NIMBLE Study and Recovery from Pain and Disability after Surgery.

I received my bachelor’s degree in biology at the College of William & Mary and my medical degree at the University of Virginia. I completed residency in orthopaedic surgery at Wake Forest University and a fellowship in adult reconstruction at New England Baptist Hospital Tufts School of Medicine.
