About Me
I completed my training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas, in 2013 with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. I worked in family medicine for one year before moving to beautiful Boone, North Carolina, where I currently practice in ENT and have since 2014. I joined the faculty of Wake Forest School of Medicine’s Department of PA Studies in October 2017 and continue to work clinically one day a week in ENT. I am nationally board certified by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and The American Society of Clinical Pathology and am a member of the Physician Assistant Education Association, The American Academy of Physician Assistants, The North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, The Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and The Appalachian Association of Physician Assistants.
I take great pride in the education of my students, academic research and the evaluation and treatment of my patients. I am also a proud father and husband. My wife and I have been married since 2002 and have two beautiful children. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing guitar and spending time in the beautiful outdoors.
