Dr. Carolyn Park is an assistant professor of cardiology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
Her research focuses on the application of cardiac imaging and the diagnosis and management of cardiac diseases, such as coronary artery disease and cardiotoxicity related to anti-cancer therapies.
Dr. Park is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. In her clinical practice, she treats heart and circulatory conditions, including aortoiliac disease, cardiomyopathy and heart valve disease. She specializes in advanced cardiac imaging, including cardiac MRI and cardiac CT, to help diagnose cardiac diseases and to guide planning for surgeries and procedures.
She received her medical degree at Drexel University. She completed residency in internal medicine at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and a fellowship in cardiology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. She completed further training in advanced cardiac imaging at Wake Forest University and Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute.
