About Me
I am a clinical associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. I serve as the director of sports medicine for undergraduate sports teams and the director of the Orthopaedic Physician Assistant Fellowship Program.
I am board certified in general orthopaedics with a certificate of additional qualification in sports medicine. I treat multiple conditions affecting bones and joints, including sports traumas, fractures and tendon ruptures. Additionally, I specialize in shoulder and knee conditions, arthroscopic hip tendon repairs and partial knee replacements.
My research interests include endoscopic hip tendon repair techniques and outcomes, unicompartmental knee replacements and group projects, including multi-center trials.
I received my bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the University of Richmond. I received my medical degree and completed residency in orthopaedics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following that, I completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Wake Forest University.
