About Me

Dr. Chauviere is board certified in general and colorectal surgery. He specializes in robotic and minimally invasive surgeries, which he has been performing for more than 10 years.

He previously served for 3 years as a U.S. Air Force general surgeon in the United Kingdom. He deployed for 6 months to Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan, where he performed trauma and humanitarian surgeries. He worked for 6 years at Brooke Army Medical Center, where he treated a wide range of colorectal diseases, from hemorrhoids to rectal cancers and performed emergency general surgeries. His duties also included instructing general surgery residents and medical students.

Dr. Chauviere received his medical degree at The University of Texas at San Antonio. He completed residency at the University of California, Davis. He completed a fellowship in colorectal surgery at The University of Texas at Houston.
