The TOPS GENOME Registry will provide a questionnaire to volunteers to collect information on you, your eating habits, your daily routines, and your history of weight gain and loss. All responses and information will be completely confidential and secured. There is no need to be a TOPS member to participate, participation is completely voluntary, so feel free to invite your family, friends, and neighbors to participate as well! The questionnaire is electronic, so no need to go to a clinic, you can do it from home!
The TOPS GENOME Registry is directed by Dr. Michael Olivier, Director of the Center for Precision Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC, and by Dr. Shelley Cole, Associate Scientist in the Department of Genetics at the Texas Biomedical Research Institute in San Antonio, TX, where this project was initially started when Dr. Olivier was Chair of the Department of Genetics and Director of the TOPS Nutrition and Obesity Research Center.
